The location of the Trulli di Alice is strategic because a few kilometers by car you can reach enchanting places including Ceglie Messapica, Ostuni, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca. We have selected some of the most beautiful that you absolutely must visit during your stay at Alice’s Trulli.

Ceglie Messapica

In the heart of the Itria Valley, in the province of Brindisi, stands one of the oldest villages in Puglia, Ceglie Messapica. From the small town you can enjoy not only the evocative views of the Apulian countryside and the architectural wonders but also the true Apulian cuisine which here, in the characteristic restaurants with their outdoor tables, finds its greatest achievement. A few steps from the central square stands the ancient Ducal Castle, a medieval defensive structure of the ancient city, an appointment with history that you cannot overlook, while for gastronomy enthusiasts we recommend the “panino” and the “biscuit” Cegliese, 2 must of local street food.

Ostuni

Picturesque and waiting to be discovered is Ostuni, the White City. A wonderful medieval village full of narrow streets and whitewashed houses. A walk in the old town offers picturesque views of alleys, steep stairways, squares, shops, restaurants and typical shops.

Alberobello

Alberobello, famous for its ancient trulli, is one of the most popular places in Puglia. The architectural uniqueness and historical importance of this place make it an unmissable destination, recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.

Cisternino

The village of Cisternino is known above all for its cuisine and for the restaurants with adjoining butcher’s, where you can choose and taste the fine meat that is cooked on the spot. A dinner in Cisternino is a unique experience to try.
